If I could give a review higher than five stars, I would. We had a number of issues with circuit breakers that needed an experienced electrician to diagnose and resolve. Rays Electric accepted my service request and was on-site within an hour following our conversation. The problems were resolved within the day and the service exceeded our expectations. Ray was attentive and collaborative as we talked through the issues. We definitely recommend this small business.

Pro's: Affordable, no fee to diagnose problem, personal service, very quick response time, took the time to explain his diagnosis, quick work, cost less than expected. Con's: He forgot his flashlight, which he came by to pick up later. I had a flickering, crackling light switch. I called Ray's Electric and spoke to Ray. He offered to be at my house in an hour. He did not charge a fee to assess my issue. He diagnosed the issue, replaced the faulty part, and was done in about 15 minutes. He charged me 50 percent less than he quoted me on the phone. I will hire Ray's Electric if I have another electrical issue. By way of comparison, a local name brand electrician company wanted to charge $130 just to diagnose my issue. Ray came, did the work, fixed my problem, and charged me less than what I would have paid to have my problem diagnosed. Thank you, Ray's Electric!

I would like to endorse Ray--all the way. This electrician is excellent. I called just after 7:00 am on a federal holiday and was surprised when he picked up the phone. I fully expected to leave a voicemail. Not only did Ray answer the call, but he also agreed to meet my husband by 8:00 am. Ray worked a full day, made a run to Home Depot for parts, and stayed until the job was 100% completed. In addition to that, he's professional, courteous, and a great communicator. Ray will always be my go-to electrician. We received much better and prompt service than we would have going to one of the large companies operating in our area. Thanks, Ray! You helped us out of a jam.

I have hired Ray for three different appointments so far. The first one was for a bathroom fan install and ceiling lamp replacement. The ceiling fan was easy but the bathroom fan was challenging. I live in an older home so it was quite the workout for Ray to complete. He was working most of the day and I’m sure he was tired. He always had a smile on his face and was very professional the whole time. I knew that day if I needed anything else he was the guy to call. The second one was for kitchen light replacement and adding some outlets for my basement shop. Everything went smoothly and I thought I was done till I unexpectedly needed my dryer replaced. It was a gas dryer and I wanted an electric one. I called Ray and he was there the next morning as prompt as could be. I trust Ray with any work that needs to be done and I very highly recommend him for any electrical problem or project. He’s not just my electrician, he’s now a good friend. You won’t be sorry call him and he’ll be there for you!

Ray did an amazing job. He was able to fit me in right away for a very reasonable price. He was very professional and a great guy to chat with as he installed my two lights. They look perfect and I’m so happy with the job he did. Thanks again Ray.

Ray just completed a job that included adding 5 light fixtures, switches and an outlet to an older home in the city. These rooms had no power and he completed the job without any issues. He is very professional, trustworthy and affordable. I look forward to working with him again. Highly recommended!

Ray is great. He's done outlet work for us twice now. Both times he has been extremely professional, informative and pleasant to have in our home. He even helped us out last year on a holiday!! He does great work for a fair price, and we will def be calling him back for the next project.

Ray is an amazing, experienced electrician who was very quickly and competently able to fix our problems. He is very fair with his rates and gave us a quote and was able to come quickly to help us set up several lights and other fixtures on the weekend. Highly recommend him for any electrical needs!
